Dusk is our favorite time to be out on the water enjoying the views as the sun slips low in the sky. Paddling at sunset is the most beautiful time to be on the water, and the spectacular summer skies will fill your camera with epic images to share.

Join one of our tour guides, for a sunset tour of the Great Island Estuary here in Beautiful Old Lyme, CT. After some basic instruction, we’ll take a paddle tour of the area and find a spot to watch the sunset out on our private island escape. This is a great way to unwind from the day, relax, and meet new friends. We provide kayas/SUP's, all the gear, and basic paddle instruction. You provide your beverage of choice to toast the sunset and celebrate the end of another long summer day on the beautiful Long Island Sound. We schedule our tours every week throughout the summer by appointment. Call now to reserve your tour before the summer is gone and the snow is here!

Minimum Group size of 4 people with smaller groups available per request/pricing. Individuals and small groups can be added to existing tours.

The Details

$75 per person (gratuity not included) includes all rental equipment and tour guide/instructor.
Tours last approximately two hours (May be cancelled due to in-climate weather without notice).
Smaller groups can be accommodated - call for details and to book your tour.
BHO requires a 48 hour advance notice for any Sunset Paddle Tour cancellations.
