Your group can take a short paddle out to the Island nature preserve, get out, explore and bring their own drinks, food or snack if desired (which we can help coordinate and facilitate). We can get a few on-water guides to join them and show them around, and take them on a tour of the CT river paddle trail here in Old Lyme. We have a fleet of kayaks, SUPs, and tandem kayaks, so we can offer a range of options for your group. Our fleet of kayaks and SUPs can accommodate groups of up to 100 people and we can even arrange all your specific needs upon request. No two group outings are the same, so we work with you to customize your event to be the perfect day and an experience you will never forget.We offer several destination paddle trips on local waters that will make it easy and fun for your group to have an amazing time. It’s an amazing adventure for people of ANY fitness level, and we can price it out based on:

  • Time on the water
  • Whether or not you choose to have a guide(s)
  • You choose to have add-ons like food/food delivery to island, etc…

  • 50% deposit required to hold booking date. 48-hour cancellation notice is required or deposit will not be refunded.

What is the cost for a group outing?

It depends on the number of people in your outing, how many on-water hours and what equipment you’d like to use

What information do you need in order to provide me with a quote?

We will need to know the following information:

  • Date of your outing?
  • Type of outing (ie; Parks & Rec, Family Reunion, Corporate Event, Team Building, Etc.)?
  • How many on-water hours for your outing (2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours)?
  • Time of your outing?
  • Age range of people in your group?
  • Do you need a BHO On Water Guide to accompany your group?
Do you require a deposit to schedule a BHO Group Outing?

Yes, for groups larger than 10 people, BHO requires a $300 deposit to hold the date

What if the weather is bad the day of our outing?

You have the option to reschedule – or – we can refund your deposit
