Tell me about yourself.
A Connecticut native and lifelong angler, he picked up a fly rod 26 years ago and has not put it down since! Ray is a certified fly-casting instructor, USCG certified Captain & registered Guide. If you were stuck on a deserted island and could only pick three things to bring with you, what would they be?
A survival kit (that includes a fly rod set-up), a hammock and a good book!
What would you consider as your “best day of summer”?
The day starts by pushing a skiff below a bright sun, a light breeze and a few fish to cast to. It ends with sweat, salt and a cold beer, reminiscing about the one that got away!
