Introducing the highly anticipated Tsunami SaltX 2 reels! Featuring a fully sealed machined aluminum housing with machined stainless steel main and pinion gears, Tsunami has crafted a reel that punches far above its price bracket. Tsunami SaltX II reels also feature a solid titanium spool lip to prevent line chafe along the edge of the spool; a common addition to reels that are hundreds of dollars more expensive! Tsunami didn’t just leave it there though, instead they went above their competitors by including bail wire and spool shaft also made of titanium to prevent bending and increase rigidity throughout the gear train of the reel. To achieve fully-sealed status, the Tsunami SaltX 2 reel included an eye-watering 20 seals including an industry leading fully sealed one-way pinion bearing.

For offshore anglers, the Tsunami SaltX II reel in an 8000 size can be an amazing substitute for most 14000/18000 size offshore reels coming in at nearly a pound lighter and with a similar line capacity and drag as a Shimano Stella 18000 or Daiwa Saltiga 18000!* On top of everything, the Tsunami SaltX 2 reel is more than half the price!
