COME out and EXPLORE all we have to OFFER
Black Hall Outfitters is located directly on the Connecticut River Estuary, Canoe and Kayak trail. The 500 acre, Great Island Wildlife Management area is right in our backyard and one of the country’s top Paddle Sport Destinations. These vast waterways where the Connecticut River meets the Long Island Sound provide an endless range of exploration and fun on the water. Serious enthusiasts can take on the many miles of waterways and tidal flats for a great workout, hit the sound for open water touring, or to just “escape” civilization for awhile while exploring deep into the many tributaries.
Fisherman can take advantage of our fleet of utility fishing kayaks and canoes and within a short paddle, be in some of the Northeast’s greatest inshore fishery. We offer several models of Kayaks for rental, specifically designed to get you and your fishing gear into some prime water for a fishing adventure of a lifetime – local “secret” knowledge, free of charge!
If you have a bigger group, and really want to do something unique, look into our Group outings and excursion offering. Perfect for family reunions, class outings and graduations, corporate functions, team building or any group looking to experience an exceptional experience on the water. We have several local trips that can get you and your group out exploring areas accessible only by boat.
We are conveniently located to many of Connecticut’s shoreline attractions and the casinos. Come on down and experience a great day. We’ve got everything you’ll need to hit the water.
